Laser Therapy

Low-level laser therapy (LLLT) / COLD LASER is a form of laser used in physical therapy treatment that uses low-level (low-power) lasers or light-emitting diodes to alter cellular function. LLLT has primarily been shown useful in the short-term treatment of acute pain caused by rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis, tendinopathy, tendinitis and possibly chronic joint disorders. LLLT has also been useful in the treatment of both acute and chronic neck pain, low back pain, plantar fasciitis, Carpel Tunnel Syndrome, Sciatica, degenerative disc disease and many more…

How does it works?

COLD LASER penetrates deep into targeted tissue, laser light stimulates mitochondria in target cells to produce additional ATP, which fuels cell repair and regeneration. The laser simply jumpstarts the healing process and since the laser used operates within a specific wavelength range that is non thermal (the “therapeutic window”), there is no risk of tissue damage or other complications.

Theralase utilizes dual wavelength super pulsing technology (630 nm visible red laser diodes and 905 nm super-pulsed near infrared laser diodes) to be the only laser known to activate all three known cellular pathways simultaneously. Light from laser penetrates into tissue, where light energy is converted into chemical or physical energy. This Laser is even helpful in treating Skin conditions not limits to Nonmelanoma skin cancer and its precursors, Acne Vulgaris, Psoriasis, Scleroderma, etc…
